Why Gihon Water?

The human body is made up of roughly 60% water, and drinking plenty of pure water is essential for human life. While many kinds of bottled and purified water companies exist, we believe water should be naturally nutritious and perfectly pure, straight from an undisturbed source. Many water companies use spring water, but ship and haul it through multiple facilities before bottling and delivering. After rigorous testing and screening, we bottle all our water right at the source to ensure the freshest spring water!

Our Founders
Merle Weaver
Merle, a co-founder, lives in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Beth, and their twelve children. He is an experienced businessman, having been involved in numerous non-profit organizations and business endeavors over the last few decades. With his years of experience, he now leads a leadership course and enjoys finding ways to see young people developed and empowered as serving leaders. Merle is excited about the potential of pure, pristine spring water and how it can transform lives!
Melvin Lapp
Melvin, a co-founder, was born and raised in the heart of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. His upbringing in an entrepreneurial environment, watching his father run a successful manufacturing company, instilled in him the values of hard work and dedication. His early years spent working on the farm further reinforced these principles. Now residing in Ohio, he strongly desires to inspire and uplift individuals who have lost hope, channeling his upbringing and values into every facet of our company.
Fun fact: Melvin comes from a large family and has ten siblings. Six siblings are married, and he has 42 nephews/nieces.
